Teaching Excellence Award
Recognize an amazing Dawson teacher by nominating them for a Teaching Excellence Award. Nomination period begins April 2 and the deadline is April 21. Students and staff may submit nominations for Fall ’23 and Winter ’24 teachers in the My Dawson Portal (Omnivox). Look for the Teaching Excellence Award under the My Dawson Life menu.
EARTH WEEK – Activities
We will be hosting garden dig-in workshops for staff, students and classes as well as Living Campus Tours and a Wellness activity between April 16-25. To sign up please use this Link
EARTH WEEK – Eco-Cafe
There will be an Eco-Cafe happening the week of April 22-26 in Conrod's. things being sold include Fair Trade Coffee and other treats to raise funds for Living Campus Student Projects. You will also be treated to some live music throughout the cafe hours.
Cassie Paine: Pedestrian Values
Based in Montreal, Cassie Paine is an installation artist, sculptor, and printmaker. Using metal fabrication, casting, and interventionist tactics to alter coded materials and infrastructure found in public space, her work critiques underlying power structures and capitalist value systems focused on profit and development.

For the Winter 2024 edition of the Dawson Creations Journal we are collecting creative works surrounding our theme of "Growth". Growth embodies notions of new beginnings, hope and the blooming natural world!
