Take a break and come outside to learn about Biodiversity on Campus!
We are looking to identify 1000 species on campus, so come on outside, grab a field guide and an insect net or a pair of binoculars to add your observations to the count. To be ready to add observations, download the free iNaturalist app and create an account iNaturalis Tutorial Video.
This project is part of the Campus Biodiversity Network (https://campusbiodiversitynetwork.org/en) and also counts towards the City Nature Challenge (https://www.citynaturechallenge.org/) and the 1000 Species Project at Dawson https://www.dawsoncollege.qc.ca/news/dawson-community-mobilizing-to-identify-1000-species-in-1000-days/
Participation in this activity will earn your students 1 credit towards the Environment & Sustainability Certificate.
