Screening of Ninth Floor

Ninth Floor is a 2015 National Film Board of Canada documentary film written and directed by Mina Shum about the 1969 Sir George Williams riot, a student occupation led by Black West Indian-born students to protest alleged racism at the Montreal university.  The film will be followed with Q&A period facilitated by David Austin (author of Fear of a Black Nation)
