March for Science – Montreal

April 22 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

The March for Science is a worldwide non-partisan grassroots movement that has been endorsed by many scientific associations and unions. It is a celebration of scientific methods and of the contributions of science to society and humankind (e.g., health, safety, our planet, people’s well-being, the economy). It is also a call to stand for our scientific community and to protect it from censorship, budget cuts and governmental or corporate interference.

Science, not silence! The March will leave from Place Émilie-Gamelin (Berri-UQAM), April 22 at 12pm.

We will march on Maisonneuve past UQAM and McGill to Place du Canada near Concordia. There will be speeches on Place du Canada until 2pm.
