Assistive Technology for Students with Disabilities Hands-On Workshop

On Friday, March 1, 2:30pm in the CoLab (3F.43), the Humanities Department and the Student AccessAbility Centre will host a workshop on Assistive Technology and Inclusivity for Students with Disabilities. Join Rosie Arcuri, one of Dawson College’s Adaptive Services Counsellor who will discuss assistive technologies that are used by students with (and without) disabilities at the College and how to create a classroom environment, assignments, and activities that foster inclusivity for all Dawson College students.
The workshop will include an “Ask Me Anything about the role of Assistive Technology for Students with Disabilities in the Classroom” question and answer period, a chance to test out assistive and mainstream technology, roundtable discussion on a broad range of topics related to how technology can help teachers and the College best service its students.
