Active Learning and Technology
November 6 @ 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
Technology can be used in a variety of ways to complement or extend active learning in the classroom. High-tech tools such as clickers, SMART Boards, blogs are obvious technologies, but technology also includes low-tech tools such as whiteboards (portable and wall-mounted), flipcharts, post-it notes, as well as the layout of a room. These sessions will explore the use of a variety of technologies in supporting active learning and will feature the teachers using those technologies.
REPEAT SESSION will be held on:
Wed. Nov. 8 @ 2:30 – 3:30 pm
